Fred Lane Award
The Board of Governors periodically grants the Frederick S. Lane Award in recognition of exceptional service by Fellows to the public, the profession and the College. The award was established in 1993 in honor of Fred, who was one of the founders of the College and its first president (1978-1981). Appropriately enough, the first award went to Mr. Lane himself and was presented at the 1993 Annual Meeting in Atlanta.
President-Elect, Susan Talley, has appointed a Lane Award Selection Committee to consider and make a recommendation to the Board as to whether an award should be made next year. To nominate a candidate, please complete the Fred Lane Award Nomination Form. For additional questions please contact committee chair, Beth Mitchell.
